ABOUT CAROLYN - Previously to moving to Whitianga Carolyn ran a very successful B&B and Natural Therapy business in Raglan for over 8 years. Not only locals would book in to benefit from one of Carolyn’s amazing treatments, but clients would regularly drive 45minutes over the hill from Hamilton just to have a session with her.
Carolyn will help total body, mind and spirit!!

Carolyn has trained in many natural therapy techniques over the years including:

• Massage therapy
• La stone therapy, also known as hot stone therapy (in America)
• Reiki, (Carolyn is a Reiki Master/Teacher)
• The Horstmann Technique (to treat injuries in particular shoulder, neck and back pain and ailments)
• PLUS: the Raynor Massage therapy technique – Carolyn has a Diploma in the amazing Raynor Massage Therapy technique which she now integrates into her treatments along with the hotstones, besides offering Raynor technique sessions on their own. (see below for more details on these techniques).

With over 15 years experience Carolyn has a wealth of knowledge in healing total body mind and spirit, combining several of the above techniques into her sessions according to her clients needs.

Reiki
is a non-intrusive hands on healing therapy or “laying” on of hands on or just off the body.

Clients have been known to relax into a very deep space as the energy flows through their body moving to areas of “dis” ease, helping the client whether it be physically, emotionally, mentally or spiritually.

Besides adults, Reiki is wonderful for children, animals and is particularly beneficial for pregnant women.

Sessions are 1hr = $60 or 1.5 hrs = $75

The Raynor technique

...was founded by Brandon Raynor, an Australian born Naturopath who has studied many different healing modalities in particular from Eastern cultures and philosophies. Stored tension in the body comes from daily stresses or from deep seated emotional trauma hence the focus is on getting rid of every bit of stress and tension in the body.

Ideal for those who like a deep tissue massage, those who suffer from addictions, depression, phobias, emotional stress, anxiety, those feeling out of balance and looking for direction in their life, or those wanting a deep but yet rejuvenating treatment.

Since Carolyn has been working with the Raynor method she has noticed that clients who don’t normally like deep tissue massage (because it can be very painful and at times unbearable), really love the treatment. They say how wonderful it is to feel the stress and tension being released, how deeply relaxed they are, yet how rejuvenated they feel afterward.

As part of Carolyn’s training in the Raynor technique she studied Reflexology and Aromatherapy and now offers Hand, Foot and Head massages to her list of treatments – available for those who would like to focus on a particular area than have a full massage treatment.
